Leisure
Time Exports accepts most international funding options.
This
includes international wire transfer which is preferred.
We
also accept various forms of letters of credit including stand by
letters
of credit. Below is a brief description of each:
- Direct
wire transfer: Monies are wired directly form your bank to Leisure
Time Exports Account. This is the fastest and most cost effective
way of making your purchase.
- Commercial
letter of credit: A letter drafted by the buyer’s bank with
pre established guidelines that guarantee payment to Leisure Time
Exports upon submission of documents. Once the conditions are met
by Leisure Time Exports, the buyer’s bank wire transfers the
monies to the Leisure Time Exports account. If the conditions are
not met by Leisure Time Exports, no monies are transferred. Commercial
letters of credit do offer added security but greatly increase the
time of delivery of goods. With commercial letters of credit, you
selection of watercraft will be reduced to accepting parties only.
Commercial letters of credit add expense to the overall price of your
goods.
- Stand
by letter of credit: A letter of credit drafted by Leisure Time Exports
guaranteeing documentation and proof of shipment of your goods by
a certain date. After the stand by letter of credit is drafted, customers
wire funds to Leisure Time Exports for their goods purchase. Once
documentation of purchase and shipment of goods is verified, the stand
by letter of credit is closed. If conditions of the stand by letter
are not met, the buyer uses the letter to regain their funds. A stand
by letter of credit is intended never to be used. As with commercial
letters of credit, stand by letters add expense and time to your order.
Due to
the complexity of some letters of credit and difficulties verifying
information in certain countries, a 10%-20% additional charge applies
to all letter of credit customers. All fees associated with letters
of credit and wire transfers are the responsibility of the buyer and
are in addition to the letter of credit fee.
