Begin by selecting a boat. Either choose
from the boats listed with Leisure Time Exports on our watercraft
listings page or select a boat from any of the popular used boat
search engines. You can also give us some general criteria on what
type of boat you are looking for and Leisure Time Exports will do
the searching for you.
Once you have selected a boat for purchase,
Leisure Time Exports will prepare a shipping quote from the location
of the boat to the port of import. If you have a regular shipper,
we will work with them to ensure a smooth transaction. If you are
using a shipper of your choice and are handling the shipping logistics
yourself, letter of credit customers will need to remit payment upon
presentation of title only. Once shipping is quoted, we will inspect
and water-test the boat sending you a detailed report. You may review
the report and then make an educated, informed purchase decision.
After you have selected a boat for purchase
and agreed to the shipping costs, you will need to place a deposit
on the watercraft to hold it for purchase. You can direct wire a deposit
or submit it via PayPal. If you are using a letter of credit for your
purchase, you must submit to leisure Time Exports an official copy
of the letter of credit so we may place your deposit.
Once your deposit is placed, Leisure
Time Exports will supply copies of the title if available, or a receipt
for the place deposit. Once you receive this documentation, you will
need to remit the remainder of your payment. This can be done via
wire transfer. If you are a letter of credit customer, you will skip
this step. Letter of credit customers will be notified upon approval
of export financing. All financing charges are the responsibility
of the buyer.
Leisure Time Exports completes the sale
and prepares the craft for shipping. Various documentation will be
emailed to you through out the process.
Leisure Time Exports ships the boat.
Once loaded onto the ocean vessel, the boat is now property of the
buyer.
Documentation is sent to you via DHL
or FED-Ex so you may collect your new boat.
